KyroCLEAN®
Highly
efficient cleaning agent for drinking water tanks
- approved
according to DVGW (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and
Water) W 319 –
No lumping. Flows
freely. Doesn't dust. Dissolves quickly. Powder and solution: odourless.
Gentle
on materials: does not attack cement, mortar or concrete surfaces.
Neither alkaline nor acidic
KyroCLEAN® is a dithionite based cleaning agent. It is used to clean drinking water containers, tanks,
reservoirs and fountains. It can be used on any surface.
KyroCLEAN® effectively removes iron, manganese and other
sediments as well as biological deposits and algae.
KyroCLEAN® dissolves quickly in water. The odourless
cleaning solution is easy to use. The sprayed
cleaning solution does not flow too quickly from surfaces due to its viscosity. Thus it can act on
the deposits and leave clean surfaces for later disinfection.
Properties
of the KyroCLEAN® powder:
·
no
lumping
·
flows
freely
·
odourless
·
dissolves
completely
·
not
dangerous according to transport regulations
Properties of the KyroCLEAN® cleaning solution:
·
can
be used on any surface
·
no
unpleasant odours
- gentle on materials: does not attack cement,
mortar or concrete surfaces
- neither
alkaline nor acidic
- can be easily
applied on the surface to be cleaned with low pressure spray
- excellent
cleaning power, more effective than conventional cleaners for drinking
water tanks
- also
removes algae and other organic deposits
- can be easily
washed off with a water jetcorresponds to the minimization requirement
Instructions:
Dissolve the contents of the bottle of KyroCLEAN®
in 25 – 40 litres of water while stirring.
The cleaning solution can easily be applied to all surfaces
to be cleaned with low pressure spray. Because of its viscosity the cleaning
solution does not flow off surfaces quickly and thus dissolves deposits
thoroughly. The treated surfaces can then be rinsed with a jet of water.
Instruction manual:
1.
Wear
protective clothing: helmet, face protection, rubber gloves.
2.
Drain
drinking water tank / reservoir.
3.
Use
a jet of water to flush out any loose deposits and sediments in the tank.
4.
Fill
the mixing container with 25 – 40 litres of tap water.
5.
Add
1 kg of KyroCLEAN® powder and dissolve while stirring gently.
6.
Apply
the KyroCLEAN® solution with a low pressure spray.
7.
The
KyroCLEAN® solution is sprayed at a working pressure of approx. 1
bar at the nozzle. Apply from top to bottom without misting.
8.
Do
not exceed a maximum surface reaction time of 30 minutes.
The KyroCLEAN® solution should be
processed within 5 hours. It is not possible to store the KyroCLEAN® solution.
Attention! Do not apply any other chemical on surfaces being treated with KyroCLEAN®.
9. It is possible to drain the spray
water into the sewage system, as long as local regulations are observed. A sulphite
limit of less than 40 mg/l must be observed when draining into the discharge
system. If necessary, dilute the spray water before draining.
10. Immediately refill the tank
with drinking water and sample it
